Job Title: Day Warehouse Manager

Reports To: Director of Operations

FLSA Status: Exempt

Hours: Monday- Friday

As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversees the day warehouse operations including supervision of employees, oversight of all receiving, replenishment, inventory activities, management of empty kegs, will call supervision and assisting in facility maintenance.  A successful candidate will have effectively demonstrated an ability to supervise, lead, and communicate effectively to multiple warehouse employees. This individual should possess strong attention to detail, dedication to safety, and a drive to provide quality in their work. The employee is expected to participate in an atmosphere that promotes trust, creativity, open and honest feedback, accountability, and personal development. The job is fast paced and will require excellent communication, time and task management skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Compares identifying information and counts of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

  • Works in WMS system to complete daily tasks.
  •  

  • Maintains the facility in a constant state of “operational excellence”, namely ensuring a safe, clean, well-organized working environment.
  •  

  • Trains and supervises warehouse team on use of equipment including handheld devices, WMS system, Forklifts, and other material handling equipment as necessary to perform their duties.
  •  

  • Performs cycle counts and investigates inventory discrepancies and reports results to management team.
  •  

  • Maintains inventory of warehouse supplies and manages the cost and ordering of these supplies.  Excellence in cost management is required.

     

  • Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records.

     

  • Management of empty kegs including organization, inventory counts, and outbound shipping to vendors.

  • Daily meetings with Director of Operations
  • Monthly meeting with Operations management team

    Language Ability:

    Math Ability:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    Education/Experience:

    Three to Five years related experience and/or training.

     

    Certificates and Licenses:

    Driver’s License and acceptable driving record

     

    Equipment:

    Forklifts, Hand Truck, Box Truck and Van
